Imagine a dark & sweaty club. You've been there for about four and a half hours and a few beers have been drunk. Maybe a nice cold vodka tonic is calling your name over at the bar. The half naked buffed up gay dudes are getting pretty nasty over in their corner and they couldn't care less what you and your friends are up to. The local drug dealer has stopped asking if you wanna buy X or K. You're just like me; the music, friends and beer is all you need to light up this sad little life your leading. But right now you're in need of a break. The toilets are flooded and reek of piss and unwashed foreskin. You think: Fuck it, and decide to go home … but wait … what's that? A slow and gritty drumbeat begins … all of a sudden a dark voice emerges … you feel drawn to the dance floor … and once you're out there … you ain't goin nowhere else for another hour. I'm there too … cutting sloppy mixing, but playing nine songs that make you forget all about tomorrow and the days that follow. Jobs, lovers, apartments, dinners, pets, shopping, school, teeth brushing, nail cutting, ass wiping, working out, learning new and wonderful things, talking for hours and hours about nothing in particular, fucking, saving up money for that trip, death angst.
